Our Story
When Chuck Crumpton and John Waddy met in 2023, they immediately discovered a shared passion for helping entrepreneurs and business owners build stronger companies and become better leaders. As a result of their shared values, complementary skills, and passion for guiding business owners with a servant’s heart, Chuck and John decided to launch Strategic Advisory Forum — a place where business leaders can thrive.

Chuck is the Founder and CEO of Strategic Advisory Forum. He is driven by a deep sense of honesty, integrity, and a love for teaching others. He strongly believes the experience of building and selling a business should be highly relational not just transactional. Chuck has built and sold 2 of his own companies, from scratch. He understands the challenges and complexity of building companies and preparing them to go to market. Most companies interested in selling are not ready to be sold, making it imperative that Strategic Advisory Forum work alongside the business owner to grow and build prior to entering the market.
Chuck Crumpton serves as the Founder and Special Advisor of Medpoint, LLC, a global consulting firm specializing in all areas of quality assurance, regulatory and clinical affairs. Medpoint, with over 350 employees/consultants, serves small, medium, and large medical device and pharmaceutical companies in the US, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
Chuck started Medpoint in the toolshed of his garage in 2002.

Prior to starting Medpoint, LLC Chuck was in senior management with a Fortune 15 company, now part of the Verizon worldwide family. In his role there, Chuck led teams that sold and implemented large network enterprise data solutions to multi-national companies. Under his leadership, the company lowered employee attrition from 73% to 18%, saving the company millions of dollars during his tenure.
In addition to his work at Strategic Advisory Forum, LLC in building remarkable companies, he is a published author, podcaster, and featured keynote speaker in small and large multi-industry events in the US, Europe, and Asia.

John (most people call him Waddy) is co-founder and COO of SAF. He has had two successful business exits—one in hospitality and another in publishing. John’s superpower is asking the right questions and uncovering game-changing insights. John is a seasoned entrepreneur and has served on the boards of many organizations, including the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO Atlanta) and Druid Hills Golf Club. John is also the founder of WaddyFletch Marketing Agency – a full-service agency specializing in branding, marketing, and web design for large and small companies.

Mia Imbarlina is the Program Manager of Strategic Advisory Forum. She currently serves MUSC Hollings Cancer Center, supporting federal and industry-sponsored clinical trials across the country. Her expertise in healthcare includes clinical trial activation and management, auditing, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance. Mia manages the daily operations and procedures of SAF in collaboration with SAF Partners.

Emma Little is the Media Manager of Strategic Advisory Forum. Emma manages all social media accounts and is the direct contact for all guest speakers.
